1. Undertaker vs. John Cena FEELS like WrestleMania
If you look at all of the potential main-events for WrestleMania XXX, not one jumps off the page as a WrestleMania main-event worthy match quite like Cena vs. Taker. It would be historically relevant in the all-time sense before it ever even took place. It would be that "buzz worthy" match to wrestling fans from all different periods of the WrestleMania Era. Imagine the drama that the New Orleans crowd would add to the Undertaker-Cena match as their emotions were taken on a roller coaster by two masters of their craft. As a by-product, everyone watching at home would be sucked into the story two-fold. On one side of the ring, you would have the 21-0 undefeated Streak of the most celebrated gimmick performer in the history of professional wrestling, who has still managed to thrive at his job despite his rapid descent in recent years to older age using a persona that essentially suggests to the world that he is not actually alive. Think about that...in 2013, there is a wrestler that gets the biggest reactions of any star all year and does it while being played to the ring by ominous funeral music as an announcer tells the world that he hails from Death Valley. It is a gimmick fit for two decades gone by and yet his match is the yearly attraction that most of us anticipate more than (or at least as much) any other. What an incredible superstar the Undertaker truly is. On the other side of the ring, you would have the "Golden Boy" of the WWE...The Man...the face of the franchise with nothing but big match experience under his belt from eating, sleeping, and breathing World Wrestling Entertainment main-events since 2005. Every Attitude Adjustment or application of the STF would send the people into frenzy, frantically jumping out of their chairs. Every Tombstone Piledriver or application of Hell's Gate would elicit a response that would reverberate across the wrestling universe. There is only one choice for the main-event at WrestleMania XXX, ladies and gentlemen....John Cena vs. Undertaker has to happen.
