WWE WrestleMania 30: 6 Bold Predictions

1. HHH/Bryan Ends In Double DQ, Setting Up 4-Way For Bryan To Beat HHH There

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EQYSuG1GFY The WWE homepage featured six stories Wednesday night. Three of them centered on the Daniel Bryan/HHH saga (and two others were promos for WrestleMania). They are clearly banking on this match being a centerpiece of Mania come Sunday. For sake of argument, let's put aside all the jokes about HHH's ego. The fact is, the way this story has been built up, Bryan beating HHH to get into the main event of WrestleMania is anticlimactic. If he wins that match, he goes in against two guys who have been virtual afterthoughts in the last couple weeks. Orton and Batista are supposed to be the main attractions (one's the champ, the other is the Rumble winner), but the build has all been on Bryan getting comeuppance on HHH. And that's why Bryan winning that first match doesn't make sense. It will excite the crowd, and then they will have to build themselves back up for the triple threat against two opponents who frankly haven't been involved in the Bryan program in the same way. So look for some kind of screwy end to the Bryan/HHH match. Maybe this is where Stone Cold's prediction about CM Punk returning comes true. Maybe there's a double DQ with both of them using weapons or getting counted out. But once that happens, both are entered in the main event title match, and that's where Bryan gets his revenge and beats HHH, making that win count for something truly special.
