WWE WrestleMania 30 - Fantasy Booking An Awesome Show

Street Fight

Alberto Del Rio Vs Sheamus I€™m a huge fan of Del Rio€™s work but I just feel the casual fans find it hard to get behind him. He is easily in the top 5 genuine wrestlers in WWE and it€™s a shame that unless he gets some genuinely good storylines, he could find himself demoted to working the lower card. His current face turn is working as well as expected and is definitely making more waves than when he was heel. I would keep him as a face as I think a heel turn within the next year would drag his momentum down further. Sheamus is one of those guys I just cannot get behind and feel he is far too overrated. His Character comes across as genuinely idiotic and his all smiles persona grates me no end. This is a guy who destroyed the WWE in his debut year and has since been converted into a jokey, Irish stereotype. I€™m turning him heel fo sho! These two have generally have had some great matches in the past which is actually quite an achievement considering how many matches they€™ve had this past year. With a bad boy Sheamus and an on fire Del Rio, this could be something a bit special. In my head I don€™t really see either man taking a World Title over the next year and should instead focus on honing their character with feuds with the big boys away from a title picture. Heel Sheamus can feud with the likes of Cena, Miz, Bryan, Ziggler in matches we either haven€™t seen for a while or are changed by the nastiness of heel Sheamus. The same can be said of Del Rio whose likely opponents can be Punk, Ryback, Henry etc. Keep it simple and make these guys relevant again. A simple feud leading into Mania can be easily achieved but to make it personal enough for a Hardcore match, I would have the two fall-out over a controversial Rumble exit, have the feud escalate through an Elimination Chamber run in causing a loss, become more violent up through the build up to Mania and end with this no holds barred matchup. Easy Peasy! Get both men in street fight attire and we have the perfect Mania ready, hard hitting spectacle.
