WWE WrestleMania 30: Predictions For Every Match

Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H: The Winner Will Get a Spot in the Main Event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBpMMdxMGRo This is it, Daniel Bryan must play the game if we wants a shot at immortality. The outstanding and riveting promos these two have cut on Raw over the past year have made this one extremely personal. In the professional wrestling world, it's called "slow burn booking," Jim Ross recently stated on his podcast. Long feuds is what made rivalries like Flair and Steamboat, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and The Rock, or Edge and Undertaker so memorable, and this one for me really bridges the past with the present with its old-school build up. The emotionally charged audience should be on their feet for most of this one, as Bryan and Triple H will thrill fans and critics alike while exchanging running boots and multiple elbow strikes at the start. Look for the Cerebral Assassin, desperate to win, to pull out some dirty tactics before Bryan comes back with a running leg lariat followed by a suicide dive onto the floor. This match reminds me of WWF in the early '80s, with Bob Backlund battling monster heels like Hulk Hogan and Stan Hansen. Expect explosive "Yes!" chants through much of this match as Bryan chops down Triple H with European uppercuts and boots to the head and chest. The late, great Skandor Akbar once said: "Wrestling is dragons and dragon slayers." In this case, though he was known for years as the "American Dragon," the roles are reversed as Bryan will slay the practically invincible dragon known as Triple H. With the fans on the edge of their seats, Bryan will kick out of a Pedigree before coming back to deliver the ass kicking of lifetime to Triple H, while stealing the show. Remarkably, Bryan, with his lightning fast speed will wrap Triple H up in a clean pin as the crowd erupts into a mania few have ever witnessed, earning his spot in the main event, now just moments away. But what will be the cost after his unrelenting battle of power versus technique against the Game? Winner: Daniel Bryan
