5. The Undertaker, And The Streak, Falls At WrestleMania 30
For all the safe bets that there are every day across the globe, this one was sure to be the safest of them all: The Undertaker enters Wrestlemania XXX with a record of 21-0, and he leaves Wrestlemania XXX with a record of 22-0. But that was not the case this year. Brock Lesnar has defeated The Undertaker at Wrestlemania XXX, and he has ended The Streak of 21 Wrestlemania wins and no losses for The Phenom. The Streak is no more...and probably so is The Undertaker. Speculation ran rampant across the internet seconds following The Undertaker taking the pinfall to Lesnar: Was this planned? How could they do this? Did The Undertaker call an in-match "audible" and tell Brock to pin him? How could The Undertaker allow this to take place? All great questions, and it could be a while before we have all the answers. And honestly, no one but The Phenom knows truly why The Streak, something that has transcended all of professional wrestling and many other sports around the world, came to an end at Wrestlemania XXX. Hell, we may never know the truth. But the honesty of it all is this: The Undertaker has 100% total creative control over his character. This means he makes all the decisions, including match move sets and outcomes, and he made this call. This wasn't Triple H's call, and it sure as hell wasn't Lesnar's call. The Undertaker has been rumored for several weeks now to have been considering ending The Streak this year, and it looks like he made his decision, no matter how we, as fans, were going to feel about it.
