WWE Wrestlemania 30 Review: 5 Things We Learned

3. Stone Cold Steve Austin & The Rock Return To Wrestlemania

In a legendary opening segment that will go down in the history books as one of the greatest moments in WWE ever, the Immortal Hulk Hogan opened the show, botched the name of the Superdome twice, and then shared the ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. What transpired for the next 15 minutes was pure magic for fans old and new, with all three men paying tribute to the legacy of each other, and to that of Wrestlemania itself. This was a classy move by WWE to bring some context and history into the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania, while celebrating all it has accomplished over the years. Having all three WWE icons in the ring together was a truly special moment, and one that will live in the annuals of professional wrestling's greatest moments. Well done, WWE, well done indeed. Very classy and a nice tribute to 30 years of Wrestlemania.
