WWE WrestleMania 30 - The Rock In New Orleans To Appear Live

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is in New Orleans rehearsing a live appearance for WrestleMania 30, F4Wonline confirms. The photo above confirms his attendance at last night's Hall Of Fame show. It's a huge bonus for WWE to be able to feature The Rock, a relevant pop culture icon and the most mainstream pro-wrestler ever. His cameo at WrestleMania 30 had been revealed by the Wrestling Observer earlier last week, but the smart money had been on it only being a video vignette. To now have The Rock featuring in a live role will be very interesting indeed. No doubt one piece of speculation which will re-surface is that WWE are going to set up an angle for The Rock and Brock Lesnar facing each other at WrestleMania 31. That's what the plan had been last year for Mania 30 up until The Rock got injured. WWE were very keen on the match, good friends Brock and Johnson were also all go for it. With the news now leaked and most smart fans now aware, WWE might be as well officially confirming the news of Rock's appearance themselves. It would make for a great surprise for the unaware casual fans, but announcing Rock ahead of time could also serve as the deciding factor for some casual fans to buy. With The Rock now on board, this is now shaping up as the most star studded WrestleMania ever. The big three icons of the industry in Hogan, Rock and Austin are all going to be there in person. You can add to that the Ultimate Warrior and perhaps the WCW icon Sting. WrestleMania 30 is going to have broad appeal for all fans.
