WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Reasons The Undertaker's Match Means Nothing

1. The Streak Is Over

The Undertaker is 21-1; he was beaten by Brock Lesnar and the Streak was conquered. So, what's left for the Undertaker to do? A regular return is highly unlikely as is a championship run, so his presence at WrestleMania 31 feels like the epilogue to a very enthralling story. It would've felt weird having a WrestleMania without the Deadman on the card, but it's better to keep him off entirely rather than having one last dance in the limelight with no real reason for it. Look at the possible outcomes: if the Undertaker wins, he further destroys Wyatt's momentum for no real payoff, with no Streak to protect. And if Wyatt wins? Lesnar did it last year so the world won't be completely shocked. Any win or loss for the Undertaker now feels hollow in comparison to previous years and the cons seem to outweigh the pros. As sad as it may be, the Undertaker should've left it at 21-1 and taken a well-deserved rest, in peace.
