WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Reasons The Undertaker's Match Means Nothing

10. The Match Has No Title Or Stipulation Attached To It

In strictly kayfabe terms, The Undertaker and Bray Wyatt's match means nothing. There's no title to be won, no streak to defend and no dramatic stipulation behind it. This is simply a matter of pride for both competitors who want to prove themselves against each other in the squared circle. This hurts the match slightly because it can be argued that the Undertaker's best matches at WrestleMania came when something was up for grabs, such as his battles for the World Heavyweight Championship against both Batista and Edge. Arguably his greatest outing came against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26 - streak vs. career - because while everyone had a rough idea that Michaels was retiring, the sense of drama was heightened and the fans were left to eat up every near fall and kick out. How do Taker and Wyatt live up to those expectations? There's no real drama to portray because it won't mean a thing for the loser.
