WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Things That Need To Happen
10. NXT Should Be Prominently Featured
The best wrestling show on television isn't Raw or Smackdown, it is clearly NXT. A few weeks ago, Vince McMahon basically admitted during an investors call that NXT is WWE's way of throwing hardcore wrestling fans a bone. Instead of the crappy "sports entertainment" they are consistently fed on Monday nights, NXT has become a throwback to the syndicated shows of yesterday where simple angles led to matches with clear winners and clear losers. NXT has become must-see television for the simple reason that they are different than the rest of WWE's programming. Women are given ample time to wrestle and aren't thrown in stupid soap opera storylines or given lines written by a failed sitcom writer. Therefore, it is time for NXT to get their due and be featured on the WrestleMania card. There should be one or two matches featuring exclusively NXT talent. Let the mainstream audience see these wrestlers perform and maybe you'll draw more eyes to your Network. A Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens match would tear the house down at WrestleMania, which is probably the exact reason you won't see it. However, if WWE isn't willing to run an NXT title match, then perhaps they'll give this next suggestion a try...
