WWE WrestleMania 31: 8 Shocking Turns That Could Happen On The Night

5. Dean Ambrose

A heel turn for Dean Ambrose could be a wonderful thing. He's very popular as a babyface, but he's lost a lot of the momentum he had six months ago. Thanks to losing to Bray Wyatt multiple times as well as just being another guy in the midcard after that, Ambrose is in a spot where a heel turn would really help him. Ambrose fits the role of a loose cannon/lone wolf kind of guy perfectly. He came up in WWE in The Shield although now they can say he doesn't trust anybody anymore after Rollins turned on him. Turning him into a crazy heel could be the gimmick that gets him to that main event level as a performer. How could it happen? Use Daniel Bryan. While Ambrose is really popular among WWE fans, Bryan is the guy they love the most. If Bryan ends up winning the IC Title in the Ladder Match, it could be booked in a way where Ambrose came close to winning. After it's over, instead of a handshake, maybe Ambrose nails him with a punch in the face. He can steal the title from Bryan and walk away from him. The turn could be explained by Ambrose saying that prior to Fastlane he's the one that had dreams of being IC Champions. He didn't get beat by Barrett at that show, so he should have been the only title contender. Ambrose could be a phenomenal heel. Using Bryan to turn him would be the best way to do it.
