8. Zack Ryder Shows True Emotion Upon Victory
If anyone guessed that Zack Ryder would leave WrestleMania as the new WWE Intercontinental Champion, they really deserve a medal. Ryder's win was a shock to the system, one which took many in the front few rows time to digest. When was the last time Zack won such a major match on WWE TV? It must have been years ago.
That didn't appear to be lost on the man himself, Ryder was overcome with emotion when he scaled the ladder and pulled that Intercontinental gold down into his gleeful grasp. Seeking to share the happiness with his son, Zack's father even entered the ring and embraced his boy with a hearty hug.
The surprise element started to wear off, and fans joined in on the party. Even during his promo a little later in the pay-per-view, Zack Ryder looked like he couldn't believe what had happened. His victory marked a legitimately shocking result in the main show opener.
