Steve Austin's entrance was greeted ferociously by the huge crowd inside the AT&T Stadium, resulting in one of the loudest pops heard for some time. People were undoubtedly delighted to see Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley, but Austin was the main course from that particular trio and it showed.

Some have argued that the legends made both The New Day and the League Of Nations look like chumps by invading their spotlight, but it was all light-hearted fun. Can anyone imagine Xavier Woods, for example, being particularly upset that he had to take a Stone Cold Stunner at WrestleMania?

It's highly doubtful he was anything other than buzzing following that moment.

It's understandable that wrestling fans may overthink moments such as these, since they only want the best for WWE's future. That's cool and all, but it seems a little strong to suggest that Austin, Foley and Michaels overshadowed their younger peers.

This was a simple piece of booking to pop the live crowd after both League Of Nations and New Day had worked a long and competitive match.
