9. Cena's Return To The Big Time
For the past two years, John Cena has made do with upper mid-carders at WrestleMania. It didn't really do much for the franchise star, and it didn't do much for Rusev or Bray Wyatt either. In many ways, it was wasted booking. The matches were average. Simply put, it is time for Cena to return to the big time. He was wrestling The Rock in consecutive main events just a few years ago. That's where a franchise star belongs, the business numbers don't lie on that point. You also have to consider that Cena nearly always delivers when given a major opponent. Think back to his SummerSlam match with Brock Lesnar in 2014. A bout with The Undertaker would have that same "big fight feel" to it. There's also an argument that Cena deserves a return to the main events, after a sensational 2015 in which he had several match of the year contenders - Rollins at SummerSlam, Owens twice, and the Royal Rumble triple threat with Lesnar and Rollins. He's earned a chance at headlining at Mania again off the back of a great year.
