It's now pretty clear that John Cena was originally supposed to be Undertaker's opponent this year, only for his untimely injury to put that idea to bed. It's a shame, too, because a match between the pair would have represented a true clash of legacies. However, that shouldn't rule Cena out from potentially interfering in the bout anyway. Of everyone on this list, he's perhaps the superstar with the most ambiguous allegiances. He's subtly sided with Vince before during the Summer of Punk, but remains a babyface who would probably want to get one over on the evil chairman. Then again, a far more compelling storyline would be to position Cena as a tiring veteran, desperately trying to prevent Shane from taking control of Raw and ushering in a new era.
