8. U.S. Title: Kalisto (c) Vs. Ryback
Result: Kalisto nails the Salida del Sol for the win (8:58).
Rating: There weren't exactly many fans hyped for this match from the outset, and it aptly lived down to expectations. Kalisto and Ryback aren't at all well-matched here: they have zero chemistry and the fact that the arena was incredibly empty at this point only made it feel even less energetic and exciting.
From a TV perspective, the fact that a commercial break interrupted the match didn't much help (such is the nature of the pre-show), and made it even more difficult to care about what was going on. Everyone knew Kalisto would retain: it was the right call, but an utterly uninteresting title defense for the plucky champ. Not awful, just not good either. 5/10
