WWE WrestleMania 33: 10 Matches We Expect To See
The April 2 card is shaping up nicely.
Forget Christmas. For wrestling fans, the most wonderful time of the year is WrestleMania season. There's no bigger or more exciting time to be a WWE viewer and the Grandest Stage Of Them All is once again looming near on the horizon.
2016 has been a pretty great period for WWE and with the year almost over, it's only natural that wrestling fans would start to turn their attention to some of the matches we can expect to see in 2017.
And already the WrestleMania 33 card is starting to take shape. Although we're still more than three months away from the Showcase of the Immortals, WWE has smartly started putting the pieces in place for some of its biggest matches.
Here are 10 of the big matches we expect to see on April 2 at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
10. Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
It's pretty much a guarantee that WrestleMania each year will feature the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which is generally a way to get the other members of the roster who aren't in a featured match onto the big card, as well as hand some main roster debuts to NXT stars.
Last year, newcomer Baron Corbin took home the trophy, joining previous winners Big Show and Cesaro. It'll be interesting to see whether WWE allow another former NXT star to win the bout this year; Samoa Joe could be a perfect choice if they opt to go down that route.
Other potential winners of the gigantic trophy include Big Cass and Rusev, or the WWE could throw us a curveball and bring in a returning legend to take home the trophy. Kurt Angle perhaps?
