WWE WrestleMania 33: 10 Things That Won't Happen

3. Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton Headlining The Show

When Triple H and Chris Jericho clumsily attempted to follow up on a red-hot Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock classic at WrestleMania X-8, the argument given was that WWE wished to protect the aura of their top title; regardless of the then-Undisputed Title being on the line in HHH vs. Y2J, that match shouldn't have been 'Mania's main event on a card also touting Rock vs. Hogan.

Don't expect WWE to make the same mistake (one they also made in 2009 with Randy Orton and Triple H appearing after The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels) this year.

The WWE Title is important, there's never any question about that, but the truth is that WrestleMania 33 features more marquee-friendly bouts than Randy Orton's challenge to Bray Wyatt for the promotion's top prize. Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker both feel like bigger box office attractions than Wyatt vs. Orton, and even Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles feels on par with the WWE Title situation.

Bray's first pay-per-view title defence has midcard written all over it. Rightly or wrongly, expecting Wyatt vs. Orton to main event 'Mania 33 is foolish.
