WWE WrestleMania 34: Predicting The Quality Of All 14 Matches

1. Roman Reigns Vs. Brock Lesnar - Universal Title Match

It's the match many protest that they do not want to see, but should receive in stronger voice than any other on the card. Roman Reigns orchestrates this crescendo, without fail, which should - but doesn't - alter the narrative that he cannot work.

The noises in the Superdome will be loud, and they will be ugly, pitched in a braying tone, making for a gruesome colosseum atmosphere as the challenger, Roman Reigns, enters the mouth of the lion.

The last match was a brutal and gripping affair, and Roman Reigns was just as unpopular then as he is now - although fans are more apathetic than enraged at this point, having accepted the result, which may dilute the reaction somewhat. As for the content of the match itself, it's a Brock Lesnar match, the success of which depends entirely on the timing of the same wince-inducing moves and the emotion driving the selling of them. If the crowd is dead, expect the expected: a diminished return of a blinding match.

If the crowd isn't too tired, and reacts involuntarily as they almost invariably do, expect something that is at the very least fascinating.

Predicted Star Rating: ****
