Drew McIntyre reeks of future World Champion. It's only a matter of time before he's marching around Raw or SmackDown with one of those belts around his waist, and it could be the Universal Title later this year. Before then, he has a date with the returning hero that is Roman Reigns. Chalk one up for the good guys, huh?

As Drew might say in his native tongue, "Aye right".

This is an article based on shocks, and it'd certainly be one if the strapping Scotsman upended Roman's comeback tour with a definitive, smash mouth win. One can almost see all those former Reigns haters crying into their freshly-bought t-shirts in the stands as he leaves the stadium dejected.

Like it or not, that sadness is part and parcel of pro wrestling. There's a story to tell here, and it's not preposterous to claim it might be an upsetting one. In 2019, McIntyre is every bit as viable a top contender as Roman. Believe that.
