Dave Meltzer reported on the Saturday night edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio that the WrestleMania 36 card is undergoing huge changes, which seems to a suggest that some expected mega-matches won't actually be coming to fruition.

Early reports have hinted at a Universal Championship match between 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns, along with a clash between John Cena and Elias - riffing off the pair's verbal battle at last year's event.

However, Meltzer claims that on the SmackDown side of things every match has 'changed or is in danger of changing', even going as far as to state that the Reigns/Fiend and Cena/Elias showdowns appear to be off at this stage.

This could have huge repercussions for Thursday's Super Showdown event, with many believing that Goldberg would be defeated by 'The Fiend' - setting up a Reigns/Fiend title match at 'Mania. However, now the possibility of a Goldberg win and subsequent battle Vs Cena for the title at the Show of Shows could be a very real possibility.

Meltzer also noted that the upcoming SmackDown Women's title match between Bayley and Naomi at Super Showdown was originally slated for 'Mania 36. Yet, the decision was made to bring it forward to the Saudi show instead.

Just when we thought we had all the answers for the biggest wrestling event of the year, Vince McMahon has gone and changed the landscape yet again.
