WWE moves fast.

This time last year, Rhea Ripley was picking up the pieces of her company career after losing the NXT Women's Title to Charlotte Flair. Fast forward 12 months and Charlotte isn't even on the 'Mania 37 card and Rhea is now tracking Asuka's Raw belt. What's more, she has a very good chance of winning it.

She better.

Last year was a disaster for Ripley. WrestleMania 36 totally wrecked any momentum she'd built up on NXT, and it left her with no real purpose on the black and yellow brand to speak of. What will she do if WWE get cold feet again and book a loss to Asuka here? Go back to Wednes...sorry, Tuesdays?

This doesn't bear thinking about. Rhea must defeat Asuka for that Raw prize and then become the face of the brand's female division. Anything else, including some sort of screwy non-finish that leads to a rematch, would be rubbish.
