WWE WrestleMania 37: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

4. WWE Title: Bobby Lashley (c) Vs. Drew McIntyre

Edge Roman Reigns Daniel Bryan
WWE.com

Result: Lashley retains the title after Drew passes out to the Hurt Lock (18:20).

Rating: This was a strong opener to the weekend that delivered mighty showcases for both men, complete with a surprising but satisfying result.

It's a shame Drew hasn't had his big WrestleMania moment with a live crowd yet, but there was no sense hijacking Lashley's momentum to get it done - Drew's time will come sooner rather than later.

This was a fast-paced, hard-fitting fight as you'd expect, and kept fans guessing how it would turn out until the very end.

The MVP interference nonsense was totally unnecessary and made Drew look a little goofy - especially when he was about to hit the Claymore in the final stretch - but overall this was laid out well to benefit both men.

It'll be interesting to see how they're both booked from here. 8/10
