Let's not forget that CM Punk will be around ringside on guest commentary for the World Title clash. WWE toyed with the idea of making him special guest referee for the match, but eventually decided against that. That's great, 'cause it means Punk's involvement in proceedings should be fairly minimal.

He is getting involved though, let's be frank about that straight away. There's no chance Punk camps out on comms and ends his night without incident. Maybe he'll be the one to cost Seth his gold, or perhaps Punk will eat a (gentle) bump from McIntyre to set something up between them for the summer once he's healthy post-surgery.

This writer would keep Punk out of it for as long as possible. He definitely doesn't need to be the deciding factor, and it's fair to say he has beef with both guys in the match anyway. One moment is all the trio needs to line up amazing bouts once Punk has healed up.
