WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2021: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True
7. The Dirty Dawgs Split Up
That's not the only tag-team split Backlash might throw up.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode will likely do the job for Rey and Dominik Mysterio at 'Mania Backlash. That'll bring the curtain down on their four-month reign as SmackDown Tag-Team Champs, and make the Mysterio family history-makers by becoming the first ever father/son tag champions in WWE's record books.
"Disaster" is a word you'll see a few times in this article, and with good reason. That's what it'd be if WWE decided that nah, Robert Roode doesn't need to pal around with Ziggler as The Dirty Dawgs anymore. Instead, he should fly solo as a "Glorious" reboot who wears Ric Flair robes and shaves off his beard to erm...rock a Rick Rude moustache.
No thanks!
The Dawgs were made for each other. Roode and Ziggler should be able to drop the belts without splitting up - bounce them off into a feud against an emerging babyface tag (not The Street Profits though, 'cause that's been done to death) and watch them continue to kill it.
