WWE WrestleMania Mixtape: Booking The Perfect ’Mania

1. Best Main Event

Steve Austin The Rock

Percentage Of Votes: 44.8%.

Other Choices: The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels ('Mania XXVI - 44.1%), Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels ('Mania XII - 6.2%), Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior ('Mania VI - 4.9%).

If 'Taker vs. HBK at 'Mania XXV had headlined, then there'd be an argument for it to main event the perfect WrestleMania. Sadly, it didn't - the second match at XXVI rectified that mistake 12 months later. Whilst that was good, it wasn't quite as good as Steve Austin vs. The Rock in the eyes of many.

It was close though. There was a tiny 0.7% difference between both matches on the poll.

Weirdly, hardly anybody went for Hogan vs. Warrior at 'Mania VI even though that headliner holds a special place in WWE history, and only a few more folks were willing to vote for the opinion splitting 'Iron Man' crawler between Bret Hart and Michaels from 'Mania XII.

The second Rock vs. Austin 'Mania main event at X-Seven (there's that show again) was the winner. Some might want to change that 'Stone Cold' heel turn in the post match however, including Austin himself.
