WWE's 10 Greatest On Screen Weddings

1. Test And Stephanie McMahon (Starring Triple H)

"Get a nice shot of the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley." It was definitely the most memorable wedding in WWE history on the November 29, 1999 edition of Raw. Vince McMahon's innocent daughter Stephanie was set to marry Test live in the ring on Raw. Everything was going according to plan until Triple H's music started up. At the time, Hunter had become a main event performer and was really gaining steam as the top heel in the company. Prior to this, he didn't really interact with Stephanie much at all. He showed up to say that before they go through with the wedding, they had to look at this tape he brought. It was shown on the Titantron for everybody in the arena to see and for those of us at home as well. On the night before the wedding, Stephanie drank too much. The video showed us that Triple H had her in his car and she was passed out, so she was drugged too. They drove up to "A Little White Chapel" in Las Vegas, which had a drive thru wedding chapel. As Hunter drove up to the chapel, the camera panned over to show Stephanie. The crowd in the arena popped when they saw it. He told the lady that worked there that he had $40 and was set to marry her. Hunter said "I do" when asked, then he blocked the woman that married them from seeing Steph and said "I do" comically. Apparently that's good enough in a WWE wedding. He read the vows for himself. Then he read the vows as Stephanie even though Stephanie was actually passed out in the seat and any sane person could see that, but the woman that married them was clearly an idiot. Hunter told his buddy to put on the "Just Married" sign on his car. It turns out the bartender was at her bachelorette party. He got her drunk and likely drugged her. You would think that would be some kind of crime as well as the way they got married, but not in WWE. Everybody in the ring was mad about what happened, especially Test. Stephanie was sorry because she had no recollection of it happening. Vince McMahon was angry too. It was an awesome twist to the ceremony that set up the future very well. This was the start of Hunter's interaction with Stephanie. Four years later they legitimately got married and now it's 15 years later with the two of them running the company along with her dad Vince.
