WWE's 53 Wrestlers Ranked From Worst To Best

31. Jack Swagger

Pros:

1. Has legitimate grappling experience

2. Big and muscular while also being quick and agile

3. All American…American

Cons:

1. Has lost to Rusev way too many times in the past year

2. No longer has Zeb Coulter to cut promos for him

3. Isn’t Kurt Angle

Jack Swagger’s a prime example of WWE making a gamble and having it blow up in their face…twice.

He won the MiTB briefcase at WrestleMania XXVI, and defeated Chris Jericho to become World Heavyweight Champion. His run lasted all of two months, and has even been joked about on-air by Michael Cole. Then they tried to give him another main-event push as this pseudo-Tea Party xenophobe, but his hopes of World Title glory were dashed when he was arrested for marijuana possession.

Since then, he has become yet another directionless jobber who doesn’t get much screen time. He has lost to Rusev numerous times throughout the 2014 calendar year, and has lost almost all of his credibility. Not even his patriotic, red-white-and-blue image gets that much of a reaction, nor does his Ankle Lock finisher.

Sadly, things aren’t looking too bright for Swagger. Even though he has all the credentials to be a big star, his past mistakes have led to the destruction of his credibility. Maybe he might bounce back in a year or two, but for now, he’s locked firmly on the bottom end of the card.

Final Rating: **3/4
