Pros:
1. The perfect ‘annoying’ heel
2. Solid ring work
3. Excellent promo ability
Cons:
1. Has fallen such a long way from being WWE Champion in 2011
2. Cannot be expected to win any match fairly
3. Is legitimately hated by many of his (ex) colleagues
Miz has certainly come a long way. He overcame considerable adversity, was even WWE Champion at one point and main-evented WrestleMania XXVII. If there was ever an example of a WWE Tough Enough success story, it’s him.
As a babyface, Miz has been terrible. None of his catchphrases managed to really catch on, and people simply did not want to cheer him. Miz has that air of natural arrogance and smugness that makes him a perfect heel that people simply love to hate. Add to that fact the jealousy many have for him due to him being married to Maryse, and you have someone that the fans will boo no matter what he does.
Miz is the ideal ‘annoying’ guy that p*sses fans off (in the right way). He irritates the casual fans by behaving like that obnoxious jerk that everyone knows. He irritates the hardcore fans for his use of the legendary Figure-4 Leg Lock. Finally, he irritates his co-workers because of his attitude and nature; in many shoot interviews.
So while he might not be a likely World Title contender in the near future, expect to see more of the Miz.
