AJ Styles contributed a sweet video message to Impact Wrestling fans as the promotion celebrated 20 years in business at Slammiversary 2022.

In a touching toast to his illustrious past with the organisation, 'The Phenomenal One' chronologically ran down some of his personal highlights as well as peak moments for the brand he called home between 2002 and 2013.

He wasn't the only one to make a surprise appearance. AEW's Sting and WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle also sent their best wishes via tape, whilst legendary TNA Tag Team Champions America's Most Wanted (James Storm & Chris Harris), Christy Hemme, Traci Brooks, D'Lo Brown all made appearances on the show. Elsewhere former president Dixie Carter introduced Davey Richards as the Impact Originals' mystery partner for their 10-man tag match with Honor No More, Scott Hudson and Goldy Locks conducted some backstage interviews, Earl Hebner replaced his injured son Brian as referee in the aforementioned five-on-five nostalgia clash, and current Impact EVP Scott D'Amore reprised his role as Team Canada coach for the night on guest commentary.

The company also paid touching tribute to Mike Tenay and Don West as the original voices of TNA, and included a link to West's gofundme as he battles brain lymphoma.
