WWE's Bayley Responds To AEW Star's Injury News

Bayley just crossed the WWE/AEW divide to wish someone a speedy recovery.

AEW's Kris Statlander recently had serious knee surgery, and she'll be out of action for an indefinite period of time.

That's a bummer for Kris, not least because she was in the TBS Title mix alongside Jade Cargill and Athena. In her tweet about the surgery, Statlander actually apologised to fans for 'letting them down', and vowed to come back "bigger, more powerful and more than a woman".

That's when Bayley stepped in.

The WWE star, who returned to screens at SummerSlam earlier this month, replied to Statlander's tweet with one of her own - Bayley wished Kris well in her recovery from serious surgery, then ended the message by saying, "You're really good".

That's a lovely exchange.

Bayley crossed the WWE/AEW divide to send her support to Statlander, but couldn't resist letting the All Elite star know that she's highly rated too. Fans should probably expect to see more of this now that Vince McMahon has retired.

There's a unique kinship amongst pro wrestlers, and the fact both Bayley and Kris work in different companies shouldn't change that. Nobody likes to see somebody get hurt.

This was super-classy from Bayley.
