WWE's Kairi Sane Has Hand, Foot, And Mouth Disease
It's not the one suffered by cattle.
Former NXT Women's Champion Kairi Sane has announced that she has fell sick with hand, foot, and mouth disease.
The illness, which tends to infect children but can spread to adults, begins with a fever, before causing a rash similar to eczema to spread to the hands, feet, and tongue. It is not related to the foot-and-mouth disease (also known as hoof-and-mouth disease) which affects farmyard animals.
Sane made a post to Twitter about her sickness, expressing confusion about how she contracted disease:
“The fever has gone down, but now my hands, feet, and mouth have a mysterious eczema… Ouch you go to the hospital with it? (even in the United States, hand, foot, and mouth disease) It is a disease that infants under 5-years-old have been examined. Why did the virus enter my body by mistake?”
Adult symptoms of hand, foot and mouth disease are the same as those children suffer, but tend to be more severe. Though unpleasant, the condition tends to clear up after a week. Here's wishing Sane a speedy recovery, and that she will return to action before too long.
