Kevin Owens has reacted to Chris Jericho name-dropping him on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite.

Owens took to Twitter after hearing Jericho reference his "former best friend Kevin" on AEW TV. The WWE star showed off his dry sense of humour by offering up, "I'm a good friend". That, rather hilariously, led to countless comments from fans like, 'You sure are' and, 'Besties for life'.

Some even suggested that KO head to All Elite and become part of his old pal's Jericho Appreciation Society. Yeah, that ain't happening any time soon! Owens recently inked a new deal with WWE, and he's making wads of cash in Vince McMahon's promotion.

Any AEW run will have to wait a few more years.

It is cool that Jericho got so much from a simple forename though. He could've been talking about any Kevin! Or, at least, that's what the AEW master would tell fans for a giggle. Of course, he was giving a quick nod to his old WWE partnership with KO.

That was a regular highlight on WWE programming between 2016-2017. It seems both men remember it fondly.
