WWE's Queen Zelina Says She Does THIS One Bogus Thing On Purpose

Fans who hate this aspect of Zelina Vega's new WWE character should know it's deliberate.

Queen Zelina has told Ryan Satin's 'Out Of Character' podcast that her put on English accent is deliberately wonky.

The first ever WWE Queen's Crown winner also said that she sought out Booker T and asked the Hall Of Famer for advice on playing phoney wrestling royalty. Booker was very accommodating and advised that Zelina pay close attention to movies, TV shows and "real people" rather than solely focusing on what other pro wrestlers do.

It's important to stand out from the crowd, according to Book.

Vega then went on to say that Vince McMahon hadn't been aware that she could even ham her way through promos in an English dialect. The WWE boss was happy to let her try it, and presumably happy with the results.

Zelina chuckled when she spotted loads of negative feedback from fans on social media; some criticised her accent by saying she occasionally dipped into a more Australian tone. That, she claims, is 100% on purpose. "I’ve been trying to make it sound worse and worse every time I do it", she said.

"I want you to not like it. I’m the bad girl. You’re not supposed to like me".

Quite, your majesty.
