Renee Young has tested positive for COVID-19.

The WWE broadcaster broke the news herself, tweeting the following on Wednesday:-

A rough few days indeed.

Young's tweeted went down just a few hours after it was announced that her husband, Jon Moxley, would be unable to make his scheduled AEW Dynamite appearance after coming into contact with somebody who had tested positive. There was no confirmation that this was Young at the time, though it's easy to draw that line now.

Per AEW President Tony Khan, Mox's decision not to travel to Dynamite was his own. He notified the company in advance before his doctor advised him to stay at home, take a test, and keep his AEW co-workers protected. It is currently unclear when he will be able to return to television.

Young has been under WWE employ since 2012. She had been the host of WWE Backstage, which was taken off its regular weekly FS1 schedule earlier this week, though there's chatter that the talking heads show could return for pay-per-views and other big events. We'll have to see what happens in that regard.

Here's hoping that Renee (and potentially Moxley) mount a speedy recovery.
