Ronda Rousey has shared her thoughts on the recent Cain Velasquez arrest controversy via social media.

The WWE star tweeted out support of her old UFC alumni by using the hashtag "#FreeCainVelasquez". Ronda also stated: "I would have done the same thing if not worse". She was, of course, referring to updates that Velasquez targeted a man who had recently been charged with molesting a member of his family.

Cain is currently being held by officers and is facing charges of attempted murder.

Both Rousey and Velasquez had celebrated MMA careers before turning their attentions to pro wrestling. There, both have experienced vastly different fortunes - Cain only dipped a toe into WWE waters for a match vs. Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel 2019 in Saudi Arabia and wasn't really seen again.

Meanwhile, Ronda is a former Raw Women's Champion and returned to the WWE mix in a big way by winning the 2022 Royal Rumble. She's currently locked in to wrestle Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's belt at WrestleMania 38 next month.
