The Psycho Killer has been out of action since September.

Having not wrestled since last September, WWE's Tommaso Ciampa has taken to social media to provide an update on his health.

In an Instagram post, Ciampa noted how he's now finished the last of his stem cell treatment.

As noted by the Psycho Killer, there is a BioXcellerator tradition where a patient writes on their stem cell bag what they hope to achieve. For Tommaso, this is to "dance with buddies" again, aka wrestle, and to play tag with his daughter Willow.

Ciampa revealed in October that he'd undergone surgery to repair a torn hip labrum that was causing him significant back pain.

There is no news on how long the two-time NXT Champion will be out of action for, but here's wishing the best for Tommaso as he continues his recovery.

As alluded to, the last time Ciampa wrestled was back on a 17 September 2022 live event from Bakersfield, California. There, he came up short against Bobby Lashley in a bout for the United States Title at that point held by the All Mighty. In terms of TV, Tommaso's latest televised bout came on the 22 August episode of WWE Raw, where he and the Miz picked up a DQ win over Lashley and AJ Styles.

Of course, Tommaso Ciampa's injury unfortunately coincided with the return - and 'proper' main roster arrival - of his long-time BFF-turned-rival Johnny Gargano, with many fans hopeful of a DIY reunion for the pair. Whether teaming together or battling one another, the chemistry between Ciampa and Gargano is off the charts, and hopefully that is something that can be revisited as and when Tommaso is cleared to return to the ring.
