WWF Brawl For All: Where Are They Now?
13. Road Warrior Hawk
Born Michael Hegstrand, Hawk will always go down as one half of the legendary Road Warriors, or Legion Of Doom as they were known in the WWE. Along with his partner Animal, they were known for their hard hitting style and at the time of Brawl For All the team was back in the company for their second spell.
With past employment as a bouncer Hawk was no stranger to having the odd brawl here and there. He took on Droz in the first round. The fight ended in a draw but Droz progressed due to Hawk getting injured.
Afterwards he was be part of the distasteful "Hawk Is Drunk" storyline which took advantage of his own personal struggles with drink and drugs. It proved too much for him and he and Animal left WWE shortly after.
Hawk eventually cleaned himself up and became me a born again Christian. Tragically he would die of a heart attack in October 2003. He was 46 years old. He was posthumously inducted in to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
