1. Delusional Becky Carries WarGames Segment

Who would have pegged that Becky Lynch doing her own send-up of an American politician would be such entertaining television?

Lynch, who had been cracking for weeks and finally broke after Maxxine Dupri shocked her and won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship last week, has been on a social media tirade at anyone and everything (though mainly referee Jessika Carr), using alliterative and insulting nicknames for her adversaries, and threatening legal action against anyone she deems to be part of a conspiracy against her. (This should sound familiar to most Americans after a decade-long barrage of this slop.)

Monday, Becky, the last person to join her WarGames team, stood in front of her teammates and ranted that she had assembled “by myself” the greatest WarGames team in history. She then went down the line to introduce each member, backhandedly insulting them (she and Asuka went to war, but Becky beat her nine out of 10 times; Nia Jax is powerful, but not as powerful as Lynch).

The Man also took swipes at “Rotten” Rhea Ripley (Lynch had her face broken by Jax but didn’t need to wear a mask like Rhea), “Charlatan” Flair, and “Awful” Alexa Bliss before the faces came out to counter them.

Unfortunately, AJ Lee’s promo was nowhere near the level of Becky’s screed, and dragged the segment down a bit before everything broke down in a pier-six brawl. Still, Lynch’s demented ranting is a guilty pleasure, and the match itself should be solid. It also remains notable that eight of the participants are currently tag team wrestlers, which is both unusual and a positive in and of itself.
