11 Ways WWE Are Giving Brock Lesnar Away Too Cheaply

8. Meaningless Matches

In the thirteen matches he's had since coming back, every single one of them should have counted towards something. Anything less than a must see match is giving him away too cheaply. Yet WWE promoted him against Big Show at Royal Rumble 2014, in a match that absolutely nobody could care about. The exact same match was actually done eleven years earlier at Royal Rumble 2003, and fans saw through it then as well. You just know Lesnar is winning, so what's the point? There's no meaning to it and the in-ring action is obviously going to be rubbish. Likewise his recent matches. The bout with Kofi Kingston, while it was fun, it was basically a house show. Even his match with Seth Rollins at Battleground, it was a nine minute none-result. Things like that dilute Brock's value. In contrast, every fight he had in the UFC had value, there was no just rolling him out for the sake of it. In making sure Lesnar isn't given away too cheaply, he must only be used in major matches with meaningful purpose.
