15 Wrestlers That Got BANNED From WWE

Neither is this one.

The 'Triple H Era' has been running largely since 2022. That's when Vince McMahon's stronghold on WWE's creative direction started to loosen. He did make a comeback after that, but was put out of pasture by TKO chiefs in January 2024 once further details leaked about sexual misconduct allegations. Again, as referenced in the Lesnar entry, that lawsuit is still ongoing.

WWE surely won't follow up on Brock's comeback with an outlandish Vince reprieve. He's the main subject noted in Janel Grant's claim against the company, so it'd certainly be brave/stupid to bring McMahon back into the mix at this stage. Besides, what could he really contribute anyway? Much of Vince's latter day creative was crummy, and there were reports of unrest behind the curtain during his final appearances backstage.

For all intents and purposes, McMahon is banned from showing up to WWE events. He can't show face at company headquarters either. The man who once controlled practically every aspect of day-to-day business in the organisation is a fading memory as things stand in late-2025. Put it this way: It'd be bold for anyone high up the food chain to green light even a few token showings on TV right now.

Any chances of a Hall Of Fame induction, which previously seemed ironclad, are diminishing rapidly the longer time marches on. It looks very much like McMahon is yesterday's man. WWE is looking to the future, and they certainly don't need the horrific PR he'd bring with him if he was welcomed back.
