Bodyslam+ is reporting that NXT star Lola Vice is likely to earn a call up to WWE's main roster sooner rather than later. Further, it seems that Vice would join the SmackDown brand so she could be on the road with her boyfriend Damian Priest.

Triple H has raided the developmental wing recently. Names such as Oba Femi, Sol Ruca and more have made appearances on either Raw, SmackDown or specials like Saturday Night's Main Event. On top of that, NXT favourites such as Trick Williams, Jordynne Grace, Je'Von Evans and select others have officially joined the main roster crew.

Their NXT days are behind them, at least for now. It seems a shoe in that Vice is next to receive the nod.

WWE's timing is interesting. In the past, the company has typically waited until after WrestleMania season to bring NXT stars to Raw or SmackDown full time. That avoided anyone being lost in the shuffle amidst the usual Royal Rumble-'Mania excitement, but it also handily helped ease the post-WrestleMania lull and a drop in overall interest from casual fans.

In 2026, Hunter has flipped that approach on its head. Now, 'The Game' is promoting various NXT stars mid-hype for the Rumble PLE itself. That trip over to Saudi Arabia on 31 January is huge business and crucial to WWE, so it's grabbing attention that they're drafting up so many NXT names before it even happens.

Lola inked a developmental deal with WWE in August 2022 and immediately reported to the Performance Center for training. She debuted on NXT shortly after that.
