Young Bucks To WWE Latest - Management Contacted?

Another big update on The Young Bucks - and those WWE rumours.

The Young Bucks
AEW

Rumours that All Elite Wrestling's crew of Executive Vice Presidents have put feelers out to WWE persist, despite yesterday's report that The Young Bucks, specifically, are under AEW contract until 1 January 2024.

Yesterday saw Fightful Select put out a report covering all the outlet had heard about the situation. The writeup notes that the rumour of Bucks attempting to gauge interest for when their contracts expire has been around since August, though there was no indication prior to All Out 2022 that they wanted out of AEW - the company they were instrumental in founding.

Interesting, Fightful cites a source claiming to have heard that Matt and Nick Jackson had requested to speak to a member of WWE's management team. While this is unconfirmed, it has been rumoured within WWE. Other sources close to the Jacksons had not heard anything to this effect.

One source with experience of working with company higher-ups had heard the talk, though they hadn't asked key WWE figures out of uncertainty over how it might be taken. They too believe that the Bucks would likely be getting the lay of the land ahead of potentially becoming free agents in 2024.

The Young Bucks are currently suspended from AEW for their role in the post-All Out 2022, with CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and more also sidelined. A third-party investigation into the situation has been commissioned.
