10 Awful Comic Book Characters That Don't Deserve A Movie Adaptation

10. Starfox

We start our list with a super-powered creep that makes Robin Thicke seem like a champion of sexual equality: Starfox. Starfox is a member of a race of super humans known as the Eternals that possess your typical super powers like flight and super strength. What sets Starfox apart and makes him a bad choice for a blind date is his ability to psionically control the pleasure centre of a person's brain. Starfox can use his special ability to make a person open to suggestion, far more so than a few too many cocktails can. What's worse, Starfox can force someone to become infatuated with him through direct contact. That's right, Starfox is a walking, talking super-powered roofie. In the comics, Starfox's powers of persuasion got him into legal hot water. A housewife accused the pervy hero of using his abilities to get into her pants against her wishes and slapped him with a charge of sexual assault. She-Hulk acted as Starfox's legal defense until she discovered that the oily hero used his powers of persuasion to sway the jury to his side. With this revelation ringing in her ears, the enraged behemoth cold-cocked Starfox and duct-taped his mouth shut to prevent him using his powers so justice could be served. This icky story line exemplifies why Starfox could be a hit with the drunken frat boy demographic but turn off everyone else. So far, Marvel movies have stayed firmly in PG territory. An unseemly guy like Starfox doesn't fit the Disney mold and would scare away general audiences. Also, Starfox is a straight-up sexist character defined by poor taste. Disney would be well advised to leave this undeserving character off the list for its next casting call.
