Batman has been known for having one of the most impressive line-ups of villains. So when it was time to jump ahead to the future for Batman Beyond, it introduced a fascinating new Rogues gallery. Now, these futuristic evildoers may not be as iconic as the original lineup of scumbags but that does not mean they are any less of a threat. The future Beyond showcases is a whole new world that introduces a new, fresh take on evil.

Blight works well as a rival to both Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne. The origins of the irradiated villain made him intrinsic to Terry's development as Batman. Inque doubles as a great new-age Clayface as well as a wonderful parallel to Catwoman that is a real threat resembling a sexy Venom.

Shriek is an awesome tech-based villain that constantly keeps Terry on his toes. He has a suit that controls sound and weaponizes it very well. Spellbinder is basically the new Scarecrow, using hypnosis and tricks, similar to Marvel’s Mysterio.

From genetically mutated teenagers to dangerous artificial Intelligence, there was no shortage of greatness when it came to the wrong side of the law in Batman Beyond.
