Having (hopefully) had his previous terrible live action incarnation faded from general memory, Matt Murdock is returning to the small screen with the upcoming Netflix Daredevil series, and from the basis of the first trailer, it looks pretty rad. More crime series than superhero, it's the first time Marvel have veered from their usual blockbuster path with movies or TV shows. Chances are if you do remember Daredevil, you're probably familiar with the basics. Matt Murdock, son of failed boxer Battlin' Jack Murdock, was struck by a radioactive isotope that fell from a truck. After pulling an old man out of its way, because he's a hero, you see. It blinded him, but heightened all his other senses! Growing up with an innate sense of justice after his father's untimely death, he became a lawyer. But he also became the masked vigilante known as Daredevil, cleaning up the streets of New York's Hell's Kitchen when he doesn't quite manage to in the courtroom. Apart from that, though?
