Marvel is overstuffed with godlike beings and cosmic entities, but there is one such life form who is truly at the top of the food chain: the aptly-named One-Above-All. To put in perspective just how powerful he is, he’s the guy who gives the Living Tribunal marching orders.

As he’s essentially the most powerful being in the multiverse, when he’s shown up, it’s often been with a different appearance each time. Perhaps the most notable of such appearances came when the Fantastic Four traveled beyond space and time to his personal realm, and he appearance in the form of Jack Kirby. Sporting an artist’s table and and an ashtray with a burning cigar, the character was unmistakably that of Kirby.

It’s fitting for Marvel’s God of the universe to be the artist who was responsible for creating nearly every one of their major characters. There’s a nice symbolism to having the real life creator act as the fictional one as well.
