8 Comics Famous Comic Creators Don't Want You To Know About

7. Happy's Grant Morrison (Spider-Man And The Zoids)

The Killing Joke
Marvel Comics

Grant Morrison is a trippy visionary, a wackier comic book version of John Lennon. His work has been adapted as Happy!, a SyFy show about a former police officer working with an imaginary animal to save children from Santa Claus, and as The Matrix (although unofficially, and with apologies afterwards).

All of his work pushes the boundaries of what you think comics - even storytelling - can do.

Then there's Spider-Man and the Zoids. It's a story about Spider-Man teaming up with some Transformers. It was published in the UK and Grant Morrison - despite having written for almost every superhero on the planet - absolutely hates it.

The funy part is that most people who have read it say it's one of the better Transformers comics out there. Good luck finding a copy though. It hasn't been reprinted in years and copies are scarce - possibly due to the author burning all of them. Possibly.
