6. Invader Zim's Jhonen Vasquez (Bad Art Collection)
Invader Zim is a dark, weird cartoon that most parents wouldn't let their kids watch, and that was under constant fire from the Nickelodeon network it was on for being too hardcore and extreme. It was funny, weird and messed up. Which is pretty similar to all of Jhonen Vasquez's other work.
All of his work is surreal, dark, and filled with some of the blackest comedy you could imagine, but Bad Art Collection isn't any of that. It is what it sounds like - a collection of bad art that Vasquez did early into his career.
Vasquez has done Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, I Feel Sick, Squee! and not much else. So it's understandable that his fans would clamor for anything they could get their hands on, but sadly, this book is exactly what it says on the tin.
