4. Whatever This Guy's Meant To Be

One of the biggest moments from Friday's trailer came when Majik and Cannonball came across a blacked out room, seemingly disturbed by what they find. Although there's every chance there could be a level of misdirection in this sequence, the man with the smiley mask is most definitely not messing around, with the folks at Fox having only provided us with a brief glimpse of the very terrifying man in black.

There's a chance that this could Mickey Gilmore's character, but if you pause for a moment and look at the character's unmasking it looks even more unnerving - with the face looking to lack eyes and, well... a normal jawline too.

Whatever this thing is it looks terrifying, and unlike anything we've seen in an X-Men film leading up to now. Whether it's been conjured up by Mirage or is something else entirely is unclear, but yeah, wherever that thing is, point us all in the opposite direction.
